Headquartered in Luganville, Santo, we have substantial operating capacity, powered by a team of approximately more 85 highly professional staff with a combined experience over 10 years in the industry. We offer a range of value added services, such as free consulting to clients regarding a variety of shipping processes and procedures and are guided by stringent value principles apply best practices in our daily operations We also offer transportation and logistics services through the island of Vanuatu and that which makes us one stop service solution provider. We pursue relationship selling with the main intention of forming long-term positive business relationships with clients. We employ the modern technologies and IT solutions in all our operations.
We offer service (forwarding, logistics, and transportation) mostly to mid and large-scale clients as follows:
1. Shipping of cargo to and from Local Port
2. Transfer from Local Port of all types of cargo and passenger

 

Job Desctiption:

1. Reading and Interpreting Blueprints and Technical Drawings:
o Understand specifications and drawings to determine the required materials and procedures.
o Translate technical documentation into practical tasks.

2. Material Preparation:
o Select appropriate materials (metals, alloys, etc.) based on project requirements.
o Cut, shape, and prepare materials using tools such as saws, torches, and other equipment.

3. Welding:
o Perform various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick, etc.) to join metal parts together.
o Ensure high-quality welds that meet safety standards and specifications.

4. Fabrication:
o Assemble and fabricate metal components according to specifications.
o Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding machines to create structures or parts.

5. Quality Inspection:
o Inspect completed welds and fabrications for structural integrity and adherence to quality standards.
o Use measuring tools to ensure precision and accuracy in dimensions.
6. Maintenance and Repair:
o Repair defective or damaged metal structures or parts.
o Perform regular maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.

7. Safety Compliance:
o Follow safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks in the workplace.
o Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required (e.g., helmets, gloves, goggles).

8. Collaboration:
o Work closely with other team members such as engineers, designers, and other tradespeople.
o Communicate effectively to ensure project goals are met.

9. Project Management:
o Assist in planning and organizing workloads to meet project deadlines.
o Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

10. Continuous Learning:
o Stay updated on welding techniques, technologies, and safety practices.
o Participate in training or certification programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

 

Selection Criteria:

>Proven experience as a welder/fabricator (minimum 5
years preferred).
>Proficient in various welding techniques and tools.
>Ability to read and understand technical documents.
>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
>High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
