Job Desctiption:

The Labourer's Assistant is responsible for assisting skilled workers with general labour duties, carrying materials, operating basic tools and equipment, maintaining cleanliness of work areas, and supporting maintenance  activities. The role requires physical fitness, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to workplace safety while ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

 

Selection Criteria:

Experience in general labour, , maintenance, or a similar role in a hotel environment is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, physically fit, good communication and teamwork skills and follow instructions accurately and complete tasks efficiently.

This role's responsibility is to prepare and serve nutritious, safe, and high-quality meals for employees while maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness.

 

Selection Criteria:

Previous experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of food preparation and food safety practices, work efficiently, communicates well with team , reliable, punctual and flexible to shifts, weekends and public holidays if required.
