Job Desctiption:
The Commercial Asset and Logistics Manager is responsible for managing the company's assets and overseeing logistics activities. This role involves coordinating procurement, transportation, inventory management, and asset lifecycle planning to maximize efficiency and reduce costs while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategies for efficient management of commercial assets, including procurement, maintenance, and disposal.
• Coordinate logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate asset registers and inventory records.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements with suppliers, transport providers, and third-party vendors.
• Monitor and optimize logistics processes for efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast logistics needs and allocate resources accordingly to support business growth.
• Manage budgets related to assets and logistics operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and standards.
• Prepare regular reports on asset utilization, logistics performance, and cost analysis.
• Lead team members involved in logistics and asset management, providing training and support.
Selection Criteria:
Qualifications:
• Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in asset management and logistics roles.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, asset lifecycle management, and CRM software.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
• Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications preferred.
