Job Desctiption:
Iririki Island Resort & Spa is seeking a suitable candidate to appoint for the position of Logistics Manager to join our team. The Logistics Manager is responsible for the oversight of the daily operations and logistics department.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Oversees and coordinates key aspects of logistics in the company
• Collaborate with the sales team and customer service team to ensure supplies are stocked and delivered promptly
• Implement and maintain operating policies on general logistics and product procedures
• Maximize cost savings and minimize product shortages and wrong shipments
• Develop, analyse, and maintain materials requirements planning and customer forecasts
• Collaborate with sales and customer operations team for planning and execution of supplier orders and related management
• Refine workflow and offer recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations
• Manage movement, storage, and processing of vendor-managed inventory
• Arrange shipments with suppliers and freight forwarders, develop effective operating relationships with strategic suppliers, then manage on-time delivery
Selection Criteria:
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Logistics processes, systems, and solutions
• Must have 5 years experience in customer service or logistics management
• Must have 5 years experience in Administrative Support
• Leadership/Management experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-tasks, work under pressure.
