Organisation Description:
• We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at a luxury private property used for holiday rentals. This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional who can create exquisite dishes from a variety of cuisines while providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and prepare a diverse range of high-quality dishes representing various cuisines, including but not limited to Mediterranean, Asian, Italian, and contemporary American.
• Create seasonal menus that reflect the freshest local ingredients and cater to the preferences and dietary restrictions of guests.
• Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Lead, train, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work atmosphere.
• Collaborate with the property management team to plan special events, private dinners, and themed celebrations, tailoring menus to each occasion.
• Maintain an inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients; track orders and manage food costs efficiently.
• Stay current on culinary trends and techniques, continuously exploring new ideas to enhance the guest experience.
• Provide exceptional customer service and personalized attention to guests, engaging with them to understand their culinary preferences.
Selection Criteria:
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a chef in a high-end restaurant, luxury hotel, or private estate.
• Must speak proper English. French is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and presentation styles.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of guests.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences.
