Job Desctiption:
Duties:
* Carry out repairs as per details recorded on the Repair Order / Repair Assessment.
* Clock on start and finish repair times on Repair Order.
* Record repair details and parts replaced at the back of the Repair Order.
* Isolate removed parts from the vehicle and notify the Foreman or Panel Manager after repairs.
* Extra work identified whilst repairing must be reported to the Foreman or Panel Manager.
* Ensure seat, guard cover and floor mats are used at all times.
* All items remain in the vehicle.
* Ensure that special care is taken when repairing to avoid damage.
* To ensure tools and equipment are maintained as per Maintenance and Calibration procedure.
Selection Criteria:
* Qualified Automotive Technician or relative automotive certificate from a training institute with 1 year practical experience; or
* Year 10 qualifications (equivalent) or better and some technical training experience.
* A driven self-starter that works as part of the team;
* Punctual with attendance;
* Able to understand and carry out directions as instructed;
* Experience with necessary aspects of vehicle mechanisms and systems: (i.e. Engine, drive train and chassis); and
* Commitment to Customer Care and Retention.
