We are seeking for an experienced Pipeline-Fuel Tank Welder to join our team at Port-Vila Slipway Limited, Teouma, Shark Bay, Vanuatu.
Job Desctiption:
We are looking for one skilled welder to perform high-quality welding and maintenance on petroleum and gas pipelines and fuel storage tanks. The role requires working in industrial and maritime environments while following strict safety and quality standards.
Selection Criteria:
Key Responsibilities:
Weld, repair, and maintain pipelines for petroleum, gas, and other industrial fluids
Perform welding, repair, and maintenance on fuel storage tanks and industrial tanks
Follow technical specifications and industry standards, including API 1104 and ASME Section IX
Inspect work to ensure quality and safety compliance
Work safely in confined spaces and industrial environments
Qualifications & Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pipeline Welder or Fuel Tank Welder
Relevant certifications preferred (API, ASME, or equivalent)
Skilled in welding techniques: SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to read technical drawings and welding procedures
