Job Desctiption:
The Night Auditor oversees overnight front office operations, performs nightly audits of hotel accounts, reconciles transactions, prepares daily financial reports, and ensures smooth guest service during night hours. This role combines accounting accuracy, guest service, and operational support to maintain the hotel's standards after hours.
Selection Criteria:
Candidates should demonstrate:
Front Office & Night Audit Experience – Familiarity with hotel night auditing, reservations, and guest services.
Accounting & Reporting Skills – Ability to reconcile transactions, prepare daily reports, and handle cash accurately.
Attention to Detail – Strong numeracy and accuracy in recording financial and operational data.
Customer Service Focus – Professional, courteous, and able to handle guest requests or issues overnight.
Technical Skills – Competent with hotel PMS systems such as Opera, Siteminder, and Dormacaba, as well as POS systems.
Reliability & Independence – Able to work night shifts independently and maintain operational standards.
Flexibility – Willing to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
