Job Desctiption:
Forney Enterprises is seeking an experienced and capable Construction Site Foreman to lead on‑site construction activities for ongoing and upcoming projects in Santo.
This is a hands‑on role suited to a skilled local construction leader who can supervise daily works, manage crews, and ensure all construction activities are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily construction activities on site
• Lead and coordinate construction workers and subcontractors
• Ensure work is completed safely and in line with plans and specifications
• Monitor work progress and adjust tasks to maintain productivity
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe construction site
• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure PPE is used correctly
• Keep basic records of site activities and attendance
• Coordinate materials and basic procurement using company systems
• Support completion of current construction works and future small projects
Selection Criteria:
Construction Experience Required:
You should have practical experience in some or all of the following:
• Concrete and structural works
• Masonry, framing, and wall construction
• Steel installation and cladding
• Doors, windows, ceilings, and interior finishes
• Plumbing or drainage coordination
• Working with electrical and HVAC contractors
Skills & Experience
• Minimum 4–6 years' experience in construction, including supervision
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and understand building drawings and plans
• Good understanding of construction safety requirements
• Ability to solve problems quickly on site
• Trade qualification or construction related training preferred
(Practical experience will be considered in place of formal qualifications)
Physical Requirements:
• Physically fit and able to work on a construction site
• Able to lift up to 15kg and supervise manual work activities
