Job Title: Green Kava Sorter / Stamp Sorter x 6
Department: Production
Job Summary: The Green Kava Sorter and Stamp Sorter are responsible for breaking,
cutting, and sorting green kava roots according to quality and cultivar requirements. The
role ensures raw materials meet company standards before further processing.
Job Title: Dry Kava Sorter x 8
Department: Production
Job Summary: The Dry Kava Sorter is responsible for visually inspecting, sorting, and
categorizing dry kava to meet product quality standards. This role is critical in ensuring
defective or sub-standard materials are removed before further processing.
Job Title: Washbay Operator x 4
Department: Production
Job Summary: The Washbay Operator is responsible for operating various machines used
in the preparation and cleaning of kava roots, including choppers, bubble rinse systems,
high-pressure washers, and peelers. The role ensures all raw kava is processed to meet
hygiene, quality, and production standards while following safety protocols.
Selection Criteria:
Qualifications:
- No formal education required; basic reading and comprehension skills preferred.
- Previous experience in agriculture, food sorting/handling, or machine operation is an advantage but not required.
- Willingness to follow instructions, learn new processes, and work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to visually assess product quality.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to established procedures.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and safety standards.
Salary:
300VT per hour
