Job Desctiption:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Meets and Exceeds customer expectations by ensuring department provides an excellent customer care
 Assist in Arrivals and Departures
 Be present at all times at the concierge/reception desk or in the lobby area ready to assist guests, colleagues and visitors when requested.
 Checks the daily arrival list for VIP's or guests with special need.
 Ensure collection and delivery of guest luggage and equipment in an efficient and timely manner
 Communicates effectively with guests, colleagues and supervisors
 Handles difficult situations effectively.
 All Luggages must be tagged with accurate guests' room number.
 Assist with guest luggage for arrivals/departures
 Escort guest to room and explain resort facilities and activities.
 Provide efficient and safe luggage storage, delivery and collection services.
 Deliver messages, packages to guest room in a timely manner.
 Transporting of guests to anywhere on the island/resort
 Accepts flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to the hotel guest
 Maintains own working area, and materials clean, tidy and in good shape; reports defective
 Perform any other duties as required/assigned by the Manager.

 

Selection Criteria:

• 2-3 experience in a similar position
• Must be friendly and polite with good communication skills in English and French is an advantage.
• Must be physically fit to handle lifting, carrying, Luggage on and off Ferry Boat and walking with luggage to the guest rooms.
• Must be reliable and punctual especially in Arrival and departure hours for guests and must be willing to work on flexible shifts, which includes week-ends and Public Holidays.
• Must be able to work alone and as a team.
• Must show commitments to ensure guest satisfaction; give directions of resort facilities and other information requested.
