Job Desctiption:
The Casino Operations Manager supports the Casino General Manager in the daily management and operational control of the Casino at The Grand Hotel & Casino. The role ensures gaming integrity, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and high customer service standards are maintained at all times. The position oversees Surveillance, Gaming Duty Management, Cage, Revenue Audit, Electronic Gaming, and Gaming Technicians while ensuring compliance with the Casino Control Act, AML/CTF Act, and other relevant Vanuatu legislation.
Selection Criteria:
• At least 5–10 years' experience in a casino management role
• Strong knowledge of Casino Control Act and AML/CTF regulations of Vanuatu
• Proven experience in casino financial management, reporting, and budgeting
• Extensive knowledge of Table Games, Slot Operations, Cage and Surveillance procedures
• Proven experience managing and developing teams
• Strong understanding of gaming integrity, fraud prevention and risk management
• Experience in large volume cash handling and revenue control
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
• Proven customer service experience with local and international players
• Ability to liaise with Government Officials, Vanuatu Financial Intelligence Unit and Customs & Inland Revenue
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
• Energy, enthusiasm and mature professional attitude
• Fluent in English
• Available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required
• Must obtain Police Clearance prior to commencement
