Organisation Description:
Solid Builds Vanuatu is seeking a qualified and experienced Construction Project Supervisor – Technical and Structural Specialist to oversee and manage various building and infrastructure projects in building and conctruction. The successful candidate will ensure that all works meet Australian and New Zealand Building Standards (AS/NZS), as well as company quality and safety requirements.
Job Desctiption:
Supervise all stages of construction projects from start to completion.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and site plans.
Oversee structural works including foundations, concrete, steel, and roofing systems.
Monitor construction progress and ensure all works comply with AS/NZS standards and company safety procedures.
Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure deadlines and quality targets are achieved.
Conduct technical inspections and prepare progress, compliance, and handover reports.
Provide technical supervision and ensure worksite compliance with construction standards and safety procedures.
Selection Criteria:
Certificate IV in building and conctruction or diploma in building and contruction (or equivalent).
Minimum 10 years' experience in building and infrastructure project supervision.
Proven experience in structural works, technical coordination, and project management.
Strong understanding of AS/NZS building codes and modern construction methods.
Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
