Organisation Description:
A leading grocery establishment in Vanuatu with 6 well-stocked supermarkets, a large wholesale division, and 4 ABM fuel service stations.
Job Desctiption:
Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the store, its employees, customers and assets during business hours. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring surveillance equipment, conducting routine inspections and responding to incidents promptly. They work closely with management to ensure a safe shopping environment for all patrons and staffs.
Selection Criteria:
Previous experience in a Security role prefered, ideally in a retail or customer facing environment.
Good knowledge of security procedures, surveillance equipment and emergency response protocols.
Strong observational skills and the ability to identify suspicious behavior.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically fit, able to stand for extended periods and respond quickly to emergencies.
Knowledge of Vanuatu local laws and regulations related to security (desirable).
A valid security license or certification (desirable).
