Job Desctiption:
• Food preparation:
Measuring and mixing ingredients, kneading dough, and preparing items like fruit fillings.
• Baking and production:
Assisting bakers in using equipment like ovens and mixers, monitoring baking times and temperatures, and producing various baked goods like bread, cakes, and pastries.
• Finishing and presentation:
Decorating pastries and cakes, plating desserts, and setting up bakery displays.
• Kitchen maintenance:
Cleaning and sanitizing equipment, surfaces, and the general workspace according to food safety standards.
• Inventory management:
Monitoring stock levels, receiving and organizing supplies, tracking ingredient expiry dates, and reporting shortages.
• Collaboration:
Working with the pastry chef and other team members to ensure smooth production and service.
