Job Desctiption:
Pasifika Konnect already has a website, but it needs to be updated to become worldwide accessible—technically robust, culturally resonant, and optimized for global reach. We're seeking a visionary Website Developer who doesn't just write code but also craft digital experiences. This role involves building a world-class site that reflects our brand, engages our Pacific audience, and performs flawlessly across devices. From front-end finesse to back-end brilliance, you'll lead the charge in creating a platform that's fast, secure, scalable, and stunning, ready to serve clients and communities across borders.
Selection Criteria:
Requirements (Formal or Informal Pathways Welcome)
We're looking for someone with proven experience building high-quality websites, whether through formal training or hands-on work. If you've built impressive sites and can show us your portfolio, we want to hear from you.
• Demonstrated ability to build responsive, user-friendly websites (portfolio required)
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular)
• Solid back-end development skills and understanding of server-side architecture
• Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, etc.)
• Strong grasp of UX/UI principles and responsive design
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Clear communication and ability to manage timelines and deliverables
Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Valued)
• Graphic design or animation experience
• E-commerce development (Shopify, WooCommerce)
• Familiarity with analytics tools and conversion optimization
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
We value real-world experience, creativity, and initiative. If you've built something great—even without formal credentials—this is your chance to help shape a platform that empowers communities across the Pacific and beyond.
