Organisation Description:
A leading grocery establishment in Vanuatu with a large wholesale division located at Nambatri area, 4 well stocked supermarkets located at Nambatu (main outlet), Manples, Freshwota (largest suburb area), and Tassiriki (Korman Area) with 4 ABM fuel service stations at Nambatu (Paray), Tropical, Manples, and Tassiriki.
Job Desctiption:
Responsible for ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services for Au Bon Marché, ensuring that products are acquired at the best possible price, quality, and time. The role involves managing vendor relationships, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Selection Criteria:
A diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Proven experience (2+ years) in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in retail or wholesale sectors
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build vendor relationships
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Knowledge of local Vanuatu suppliers and import regulations is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with procurement software
Strong communication skills in both English and Bislama (preferred)
