Organisation Description:
The Vanuatu National Provident Fund (VNPF) was established under the Vanuatu National Provident Fund Act [CAP 189] to provide security for workers during their working lives and into retirement.
Job Desctiption:
This position is responsible for hiring, developing and looking after employees. The HR functions involves recruitment, training, payroll, and health and safety.
Selection Criteria:
Qualifications/Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource and Public Administration
• At least 6 years' experience in a similar role.
• Must be fluent in both Bislama and English. French would also be highly desirable.

Key outcomes
• Maintains accurate up to date human resource files, records, and documentation
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
• Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately
• Provides clerical support to the HR department
• May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks
• Conducts of assist with new hire orientation
• Assist with the planning and execution of special events
• Performs other duties as assigned
