Organisation Description:
A leading grocery establishment in Vanuatu with 6 well-stocked supermarkets, a large wholesale division, and 4 ABM fuel service stations.
Job Desctiption:
Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the store, its employees, customers and assets during business hours. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring surveillance equipment, conducting routine inspections and responding to incidents promptly. They work closely with management to ensure a safe shopping environment for all patrons and staffs.
Selection Criteria:
• Previous experience in a Security role preferred, ideally in a retail or customer facing environment.
• Good knowledge of security procedures, surveillance equipment and emergency response protocols.
• Strong observational skills and the ability to identify suspicious behavior.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit, able to stand for extended periods and respond quickly to emergencies.
• Knowledge of Vanuatu local laws and regulations related to security (desirable).
• A valid security license or certification (desirable).
