Key Responsibilities:
- Perform alterations and repairs on staff uniforms, guest laundry, and hotel linens
- Design, cut, and sew new uniforms or fabric items as needed
- Maintain inventory of tailoring supplies and report needs for replenishment
- Collaborate with the housekeeping and laundry teams to ensure timely delivery of garments
- Ensure all tailoring work meets the hotel's quality and hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tailoring workspace
- Assist with additional tasks as required by the supervisor
Selection Criteria:
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a tailor or seamstress, preferably in a hospitality setting
- Proficiency in using industrial sewing machines and tailoring tools
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
