Job Desctiption:
The Vanuatu Agriculture College is inviting applications from suitable, qualified candidates to fill the position of Patron (Dorm Dean). This role becomes vacant following the retirement of our long-serving Matron, who has faithfully served VAC since its inception.
The College has observed increasing challenges with student discipline and breaches of the Student Code of Conduct within boarding facilities. We are therefore seeking a strong male figure with the right character and experience to restore and maintain order, while also ensuring the welfare, health, and discipline of our trainees.

Selection Criteria
Applicants must demonstrate:
Retired service background in the Vanuatu Police Force, Vanuatu Mobile Force, or professional security sector, OR equivalent relevant experience in discipline, order, and student welfare.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and guardians in Bislama and at least one of English or French.
Personal qualities of integrity, honesty, punctuality, and commitment to the welfare of young people.
Physical fitness and willingness to work during odd hours, late shifts, and weekends as required.
