As with all staff we would expect the successful candidate to help with all aspects of the Nutrition Centre - as all staff participate with shopping, receipting, classes, workshops and cleaning especially during busy periods.

Job Desctiption:

The Tour Sales Officer is a key part of the business, and reports to the VE Managing Director.

KEY TASKS
• Respond to phone & email tour bookings
• Respond to tour bookings from digital platforms such as Trip Adviser
• Enter all bookings into the Vanuatu Ecotours booking calendar
• Prepare daily tasking sheets for guides based on booking calendar
• Ensure guides complete Tour Reports and Incident Reports at end of tour
• Maintain tour statistics and COVID contact tracing records
• Draft quotations for special tours
• Make bookings with suppliers for tour packages
• Liaise with suppliers regarding their services
• Front desk duties at the Vanuatu Ecotours office, responding to visitors who come to the
office
• Assist with marketing activities including brochure distribution and social media
• Assist with logistics and administration linked to tour operations and TV Crew "fixer"
missions, including banking and petty cash reconciliation
• May also be required to work as an assistant tour guide occasionally
• Other secretarial and administrative tasks as required

The UN Women Fiji Multi Country Office (MCO) seek to recruit a suitable and qualified Ni-Vanuatu national for the following position:

Programme Associate Pacific Partnership to End Violence Against Women & Girls (EVAWG), UN Women Vanuatu (SC SB-3)

Under the overall supervision of the Technical Specialist EVAWG, the Programme Associate  is expected to support administration, operations and implementation of the Pacific Partnership to End Violence Against Women and Girls (Pacific Partnership) Vanuatu Country Programme. The Programme Associate will work in close collaboration with the Technical Specialist EVAWG, EVAWG Operations team in Fiji and programme partners, including but not limited to: Department of Women’s Affairs, Vanuatu Women’s Centre, Vanuatu Christian Council, and others at national and provincial level.

Reporting to the Technical Specialist EVAWG, the Programme Associate, Pacific Partnership is responsible for providing administrative and operational support for successful implementation. The role has an important role to play in ensuring that activities under the Pacific Partnership Programme are implemented in a timely manner and continue to enjoy full ownership and buy-in by Government and civil society partners.

Contract Level: SC SB-3            

Contract Type: Service Contract Appointment
