Job Description:

The Vanuatu National Provident Fund (VNPF) is a body established by the Vanuatu National Provident Fund Act CAP 189 to provide for a member contributions to and the payment of members benefits out of the Fund.

The Fund is now seeking to recruit for its Head Office in Port Vila, a suitably competent and proven person for the position of Customer Services Officer. This is a demanding position requiring a person of good character, positive attitude and be motivated at all times serving different types of customers.

Customer Services Officer

The successful person will join a group of other experienced officers serving members and employers through out Vanuatu and provide assistance to other staff of the Fund. He/she will be required to demonstrate mature character, firm dedication and precision, and performance for quality output. This position reports directly to the Manager, Member Services Department.

Key Outputs:

- Deliver excellence in Customer Service; Demonstrate multiskilling to deliver quality output; Provide reports to department head; Accountable to members; Comply with policies and procedures; Consistent with the VNPF Act;

Key attributes and requirements:

- Demonstrate excellent Customer Service Skills with good verbal and written communications skills;

- Ability to work under pressure with high standard outputs;

- Be able to demonstrate a teamwork;

- Consistent in reporting;

- Be able to obtain multiskilling;

- Provide sound knowledge in procedures and timeframes on member enquires under the Act;

- Maintain good office records and filing;

- Must maintain high professional work ethics;

- Good verbal and written communication skills;

- Good computer skills;

- Demonstrated in-depth understanding and appreciation of VNPF Act, policies and procedures;

- Demonstrate ability to maintain strict confidentiality;

- Be able to work in a Team;

- Preference will be given to anyone with at least 3 years' experience in Customer Service or a similar position of responsibility.
