Job Description:
About the Role
We are looking for a mature individual that has a good understanding of Land Leases and or legal documents. You will be responsible for managing and carrying out all lease title search requirements ensuring correct information is gathered in a timely manner in order to meet Company and client demands. You will need to be very good with time management and self-management as majority of your time will be spent at Lands Records. You will need to be able to prioritize searches, which may change daily. You will be highly organized and diligent when researching and gathering data. 

Summary of Duties include: 
  • Research Land Lease titles to gather requested data  
  • Organize and manage Land Lease title searches
  • Entering data from title search into PropertyIntel, the Company’s database.
Criteria:
The successful candidate will be very focused on the details, organized and efficient in producing results on a daily basis. You will have the drive to ensure the highest standards across all aspects of the role. You will be a team player, have an outgoing attitude with strong communication skills. 
Requirements for the Role
  • Law student or 2 years experience working with Land Lease or legal documents.
  • Intermediate or higher ability in Microsoft (Word and Excel) and time management task apps such as Asana.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills 
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Must be a team player 
Desirable Skills
  • Completed courses: Property Law I and Property Law II
  • Driver’s license.

        Salary:

        Up to VUV2.5M gross annual salary. Salary will be based on successful candidate’s level of experience.

        We are looking for a mature individual that has a good understanding of geography and demographics of Vanuatu – villages, locations, landmarks, population, roads, access, transport and development and movement of people.

        In the role you will input data for specific areas, describing and comparing locations. See trends and popularity and where development or changes occur in communities causing movements of people.

        You will be required to create maps using GIS and street map software for properties and to identify custom land boundaries.

        • Location research, keeping up to date with market trends and developments
        • Data entry of location descriptions and comparisons
        • Create maps based on criteria outlined for client reports.
