The Vanuatu Land Program is a strategic Government of Vanuatu long term initiative aimed at improving decision making, making land transactions more transparent and improving land management procedures and practices, and in doing so minimizing the potential for land conflict. The initiative is being supported by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and

Trade.

(DFAT).

The Vanuatu Land Program is seeking applications from Ni-Vanuatu for the position of 3 x Data Capture Field Officers for Luganville, Santo.

The Data Capture Field Officer will provide support to the Department of Lands specifically to assist the Valuation Unit to collect data from field based onsite assessments of properties in the Luganville municipal area and enter and store data in a secured storage system is necessary. The Officers will work in close coordination with the Senior Valuation staff.

The expected assignment period is from early November 2014 for 6 months.
