Job Desctiption:
• Participating in negotiations for service contracts.
• Identifying and developing reliable sources of supplies.
• Identifying and organizing adequate storage for all perpetual inventory items and implements corporate policy, products and initiatives in order to maximize cost effectiveness.
• Establishing adequate record keeping and issuance procedures.
• Ensuring any changes to the delivery docket and invoice is counter signed and dated by the Hotel Receiver and the Delivery Person.
• Ensuring outstanding invoices together with suppliers queries are carried out on a regular basis.
• Ensuring products and resources are assigned to the appropriate department and billed accordingly.
• Ensures that market surveys are completed in coordination with the Executive Chef, F&B Manager and Finance and Business Support Manager.
Selection Criteria:
• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and their parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
• Proficient in the use of computer and Microsoft office.
• Problem solving skills, reasoning, motivating, organizational and good writing skills.
