Melanesian is a 3 star hotel located at Nambatu area. Walking distance to town, fresh local market, supermarket and restaurants. We have 75 rooms for our guest. Ranging from Standard rooms to self-contained apartment rooms. We cater for short and long stay clients.
With also have2 Restaurant onsite, 3 meeting rooms, Tours desk in our lobby area, Spa onsite and Casino. Convenient parking area for our guest.
Job Desctiption:
We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Housekeeping Department.
Working full time including Weekends and Public Holidays.
Must be able to supervise and manage housekeeping staff, do their weekly schedule, assign their task, inspecting rooms and public areas, may perform certain cleaning duties, dealing with customer complaints, order cleaning supplies, stock and maintain supply room and also must be able to train staff and oversees staff.
Also must be strict and can manage the housemaid in a professional way.
Selection Criteria:
More than 4 years experience in this field.
Must have flexibility with her schedule.
Must have good communication with her team.
Multitask is a bonus.
Must have a good teamwork and good leadership and time management
Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Well spoken and written in English and Bislama ( French is also a bonus )
