Job Desctiption:

Duties of a Front Office Supervisor will include but not necessarily be limited to the following:
• Reporting to the Front Office Manager
• Primarily supervises front office team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations for producing excellent feedbacks and guest satisfaction.
• Responds in a professional and courteous manner to arriving, departing and in-house guests by providing accurate and timely information and services.
• As a supervisor you will be a role model, sharing your expertise and continually inspiring the front office team.
• You will also ensure hotel charges are processed diligently to guest's accounts, invoices are accurate, billing instructions are verified, all necessary supporting bills and vouchers are attached for direct settlements.
• Train, direct the work of, resolve issues/problems and coach and counsel the front desk team members to ensure a quality operation.
• Resolve customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.
• Controls cash transactions at the front desk and maintain complete responsibility for personal bank as specified by hotel bank agreement policy.
• Takes responsibility in the absence of the Front Office Manager
• Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell room nights, increase occupancy and revenue.
• Ensure arrival rooms are ready prior to arrival
• Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by the management.
• Supervise daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures.
• Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns
• Build strong relationships and liaise with all other department's especially housekeeping, reservations etc
• Ensures safety by following guest check in and security procedures and reporting suspicious activity to security, manager, or MOD.

 

Selection Criteria:

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
Minimum 2 to 3 years work experience as Front Office Associate in a hotel/resort and experience related to this class of work including some supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
A positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Experience of motivating and leading a winning team. Ability to remain calm whilst under pressure. Very good computer skills.

Job Desctiption:

The Front Office Manager will be reporting to the Resort Manager, the FOM will directly supervise all front office personnel and ensure proper completion of all Resort front office duties.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the entire Front Office process of the Resort.
• Responsible for maintaining good guest relations within the Resort.
• Expect and react promptly to guests' requirements and enquires
• Actively listen and resolve guests' complaints
• Oversee and coordinate all arrivals and departures of special guests (VIPs, SAs etc)
• Formulate budgets and prepare monthly revenue/expense forecasts
• Maintain customer service/satisfaction standards; handle customer service issues;
• Maintain and operate all computer equipment
• Supervise, roster, and train Front Office staff including security and boat drivers.
• Ensure Daily postings and Direct billings are accurate and timely
• Ensure the Resorts pricing policies are adhered to
• Implement yield management principles to ensure the Resorts average room rate and occupancy levels are maintained at the highest possible levels
• Perform the timely completion of Month End and ad hoc rooms reporting as required by the Resort Manager , General Manager, Sales force or department heads.

Requirements:

• Minimum of four years of hotel front desk management experience, experience handling cash, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks
• Knowledge of Room Master hotel system an advantage

Job Desctiption:

Kramer Ausenco is seeking an ambitious and motivated Financial Accountant for its Vanuatu office. The role is suited to someone who is energetic, flexible, and keen to take a step up in their career. Specifically, the business is seeking an ambitious, resilient and a go-getter financial accountant who has strong finance and accounting knowledge and experience.

Reporting to the Group Finance and Accounting Manager and working in this broad and varied role your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Financial accounting including for multiple clients
• Financial data analysis and reporting
• Preparation of financial statements
• Prepare journals and reconcile monthly payments, general accruals, cross charges & expenditure
• Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable including customer liaison
• Analysis & interpretation of regional office performances and analysis of engineering and architectural discipline performance
• Preparation of cash flow reporting and cash forecasting
• Interact and liaise with key stakeholders and Country Managers
• Compliance requirements of superannuation, GST, PAYG, payroll tax, and VAT
• Other ad hoc duties

 

Selection Criteria:

To be considered for this exciting role you hold an appropriate tertiary qualification with a minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role and a proven track record of success. Strong experience in the engineering services sector will be an advantage to the successful candidate in this role.
You will be an excellent communicator, confident working with multiple stakeholders from engineers to Country Managers and managing your own time whilst working independently and within a flexible team environment.
Your, ambitious, go getter personality with eagerness to learn and grow your career along with your outstanding communication and interpersonal skills will set you apart.
