The appointee is required to provide high quality academic monitoring and pastoral care services to Australian Regional Development Scholarships students studying at Emalus Campus. It is essential the appointee maintain a close relationship with all key sections of the university, including student academics services and finance, in order to

effectively carry out of his/her duties. The position is available for a term of three years and may be renewed by mutual agreement. Duties and responsibilities:

1) Coordinate all aspects of RST operations at the emalus campus, in close consultation with RST laucala

2) Responsibilities includes the placement of ARDS awareness at emalus campus, the coordination of the orientation, enrolment and immigration processes

3) The monitoring of awardees academic progress

4) The referral of at-risk students to appropriate sections of USP for further counseling and academics assistance

5) The generation of accurate and timely updates to students

6) The provision of regular updates and reports to RST at laucala and the organisation of awardees travel

7) Other significant duties include the provision of ongoing pastoral support to the scholarship awardees and the organization of various meetings and events for students and Australian scholarship officials.
