The Australian High Commission would like to invite applications for the following above. The responsibilities of the position are as follows:

1. Organize programs for official visitors to Vanuatu, by providing input into visit program, planning, confirming arrangements for high-level appointments and coordinating transport, accommodation, airport facilitation and other logistics.

2. Undertake policy-related research including on political, economic, trade and security issues.

3. Assist with the management and coordination of public diplomacy events

4. Other duties are directed.

The Position is available under a fixed-term contract until 30th June 2011. Applicants must be available to commence on work on 1st of April 2010.
