RESORT OPERATIONS MANAGER
### Viva Beach Club | Pango, Port Vila
**Fixed-term through December 2026 | Potential to continue**
Viva Beach Club is looking for a capable, energetic and trustworthy Resort Operations Manager / Acting Assistant General Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of our boutique beachfront resort, restaurant and beach club.
We're looking for someone who is hands-on, confident with people and capable of making decisions independently and wisely.
You may already be an Operations Manager, Assistant Manager, F&B Manager or experienced hospitality professional ready to step up and run a property for a short term.
The Role
You'll oversee:
* Guest experience and accommodation
* Restaurant, bar and beach club operations
* Staff leadership and rostering
* Reservations and check-ins
* Cash handling and daily reconciliation
* Purchasing, stock and suppliers
* Maintenance coordination
* Functions and group bookings
* Daily reporting to the owner
You'll have genuine authority to handle normal operational decisions without needing approval for every detail.
The Opportunity
This is initially a fixed-term position through December 2026, with the possibility of continuing for the right person.
It's an excellent opportunity for someone ready to take the next step and demonstrate that they can successfully run an entire boutique property.

Selection Criteria:
About You
Ideally you'll have:
* 5+ years' hospitality or tourism experience
* Previous supervisory or management experience
* Strong food and beverage knowledge
* Excellent guest-service skills
* Good financial and cash-control discipline
* Strong English and communication skills
* A practical, hands-on management style
* The ability to solve problems independently
* High standards and, above all, **integrity**
Vanuatu or Pacific/island hospitality experience would be highly regarded.
