Organisation Description:
IPDS Limited operates Lapetasi International Container Terminal (LICT) under a PPP with the Vanuatu Government to provide a stevedoring and container terminal activities and transport on the island of Efate
Job Desctiption:
This position requires a self-motivated person with over 10 years' experience as a heavy-duty Mechanic.
Selection Criteria:
- Able to work odd hours, under pressure, efficient and trustworthy
- Read and interpret drawing and electrical code specs to determine layout of industrial electrical installation
- Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, lighting fixtures and other electrical equipment
- Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generator, Industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and devices
- Conduct preventing maintenance programs and keep maintenance record
