Job Desctiption:
We are looking for a friendly, professional and experienced Bartender to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, preparing and serving beverages to a high standard, maintaining a clean and organised bar, and ensuring all sales are accurately processed.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, good product knowledge and the ability to work efficiently in a busy hospitality environment. Previous bartending experience is preferred.
Selection Criteria:
Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar hospitality role preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Good knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer and other beverages.
Ability to prepare and serve drinks quickly and consistently to a high standard.
Strong understanding of responsible service of alcohol.
Accurate handling of cash, EFTPOS and POS/Micros transactions.
Ability to maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow hotel procedures.
Ability to work well as part of a diverse team.
Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume environment.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Professional presentation and a friendly, positive attitude.
Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult or demanding guests.
International hospitality experience or knowledge would be an advantage.
