Job Desctiption:
The Video & Photographer Personnel is responsible for supporting the Company's media and communications activities by capturing raw photographs and video footage of projects, operations, personnel, equipment, vessels, facilities and company activities.
The position is primarily a field content-capture role. The employee is not expected to undertake extensive video editing or creative post-production. Instead, the role ensures that the Company's Media Editor receives a consistent supply of high-quality, relevant and well-organised raw content for editing and publication.
The position will work closely with operational teams to identify opportunities for useful visual content while ensuring that all photography and filming activities are undertaken safely and without disrupting operations.
The employee does not need to be an advanced professional photographer or videographer but must demonstrate a strong interest in photography and videography and a willingness to learn and improve.

EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE:
The employee may be required to operate and maintain:
- Digital cameras.
- Video cameras.
- Mobile phones/tablets used for content capture.
- Tripods and monopods.
- Microphones and basic audio equipment.
- Lighting equipment.
- Memory cards and storage devices.
- Drones, where appropriately licensed/authorised and trained.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Essential
- Demonstrated interest in photography and videography.
- Basic understanding of cameras or mobile photography/video.
- Ability to capture clear and usable photographs and video.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to upload, transfer and organise digital media files.
- Willingness to learn new equipment and techniques.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in field environments.
- Ability to follow safety instructions.
