Organisation Description:
IPDS Limited operates Lapetasi International Container Terminal (LICT) under a PPP with the Vanuatu Government to provide all stevedoring and container terminal activities and transport on the island of Efate.
Job Desctiption:
The position requires a self motivated person with over 10 years experiences as an Electrical/ Hydraulic Technician.
Selection Criteria:
- Able to work odd hours, under pressure, efficient and trustworthy
- Daily routine inspection of all heavy equipment electrical systems and hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot/ repair faulty heavy equipment electrical wiring systems, alarm systems & lightings.
-Diagnosed electrical issues and troubles in hydraulic systems through several test methods and related equipment.
- Maintain complete and accurate record of maintenance and repairs
- Provide technical support and guidance to operators in using the system
