At Forney Enterprises, we are a forward-thinking organization operating in the kava industry specializing in kava powdered products. We are currently preparing for the implementation of a modern ERP system and are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry/Analyst to play a key role in this transformation.

 

Job Desctiption:

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, data-driven environments and can support the transition from legacy systems and manual processes to an integrated digital platform and, in particular would suit those with experience working in large-scale organizations such as banks, insurance companies, or corporations. The position requires expertise in handling large volumes of data and master data maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Large Volume Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently enter large volumes of data from multiple sources into company systems, ensuring completeness, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
• Master Data Maintenance: Manage and update master data, ensuring that the primary data records across systems are accurate, consistent, and up to date.
• Data Validation & Auditing: Conduct regular audits and validation checks to ensure data integrity and to identify discrepancies, minimizing the risk of errors or duplication in the data.
• Data Analysis: Utilize basic analytical tools to identify patterns and trends in large datasets, and present these insights in clear, actionable formats.
• Reporting: Prepare and generate routine data reports for internal stakeholders, supporting data-driven decisions and operational improvements.
• Process Optimization: Continuously review and improve data entry processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and maintain high data quality standards.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and compliance, to ensure the proper flow and management of data throughout the organization.
• Data Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain databases and systems, ensuring data remains accurate, accessible, and aligned with business needs.
ERP-Relevant Responsibilities
• ERP Data Migration Preparation: Support the cleansing, standardization, and structuring of data to ensure a smooth transition into the ERP system.
• System Testing Support: Participate in data-related UAT (user acceptance testing) and assist in validating data accuracy after migration.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for data procedures, mapping, and transformation to support ERP implementation and ongoing training.

Selection Criteria:

Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a data entry or data analyst role, ideally within large organizations such as banks, insurance companies, or corporates.
• Master Data Maintenance: Proven experience in managing and maintaining master data records, ensuring consistency and accuracy across multiple systems.
• Big Data Expertise: Experience managing and entering large volumes of data with a focus on accuracy and speed.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and consistency with every entry and analysis.
• Basic Data Analysis: Proficiency in basic data analysis using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas), with an understanding of SQL or other data manipulation tools being a plus.
• Data Management Skills: Familiarity with data governance practices, data entry standards, and ensuring compliance with internal and external data quality requirements.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and present data insights.
• Tools & Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and familiarity with data management or ERP systems. Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Experience in Corporate Environments: A solid understanding of working in corporate settings where attention to data privacy, compliance, and security is critical.
• ERP Preparation Experience: Exposure to ERP implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.) is highly desirable.
