Job Desctiption:

As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and place heavy loads such as construction materials, equipment, and containers in industrial, construction, or port settings. Your primary duty will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the crane, while adhering to all relevant safety regulations and procedures.

 

Selection Criteria:

Requirements:

   Proven experience as a crane operator, preferably in industrial, construction, or port environments.
   Valid crane operator certification or license, as required by local regulations.
   Strong understanding of crane operation techniques, load capacities, and safety procedures.
   Ability to read and interpret load charts, blueprints, and technical specifications.
   Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
   Physical stamina and strength to operate crane controls and perform manual tasks as needed.
   Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
   Effective communication skills to coordinate with ground crew and other team members.
   Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and environments.
   Willingness to adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, conduct, and attendance.

Preferred Qualifications:

   Additional certifications or training in crane operation and rigging techniques.
   Experience operating different types of cranes, such as tower cranes, mobile cranes, or overhead cranes.
   Familiarity with computerized crane control systems and technology.
   Prior experience working in hazardous or high-risk environments.
