| | Applications are invited for the position of Catering Cabin Services Steward/Stock Clerk with Air Vanuatu (Operations) Limited. |
| | Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) The position is within the Catering Department reporting through to the Manager Catering |
| | 2) Receive, store & issue goods |
| | 3) Manage stock levels & give out supplies from stock |
| | 4) Maintain stock records using manual systems |
| | 5) Clearing of incoming cargo |
| | 6) Unload goods & check them against order forms |
| | 7) Catalogue or label items with storage details. |
| | Interested applicant must posses the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Willingness to be trained and accept additional responsibilities; Be able to work as a team & assisting wash/clean utensils & dishes that are returned to kitchen & make sure they are stored |
| | - Must be fluent, both reading and writing, in English; Handle, sort, store & distribute food items |
| | - Ability to work weekends, public holidays and overtime; Energetic team player who can show initiative and lead by example |
| | - Must be able to provide police clearance and a medical report declaring fit for all duties |
| | - Must be physically fit & able to lift heavy items. |
