| | We invite applications from suitable experienced and qualified applicants for the position of Manager Human Resources & Training to be based in Port Vila. |
| | This is a full time and permanent position. |
| | Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Reporting to the Head of Banking Operations, this position contributes to the accomplishment of Human Resource practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasized empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior |
| | workforce |
| | 2) Co-ordinate day-to-day efficient operation of the HR department |
| | 3) Assist with recruiting and staffing logistics in line with Bank’s recruitment policy |
| | 4) Manage employee orientation, development, and training logistics |
| | 5) Assist in the development and maintenance of the Bank’s employee performance management system in accordance with management objectives |
| | 6) Recommend and assist in formulating policies and objectives for the Bank with regard to employee relations |
| | 7) Ensure employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health reporting in line with the banks policies and relevant employment laws |
| | 8) Co-ordinate and provide staff training where required |
| | 9) Maintain employee files and the HR filing system |
| | 10) Perform other duties as assigned by Executive Management. |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s either in management, banking and finance, human resources, industrial relations or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution |
| | - At least 8 year(s) of work experience dealing with people management in a formal banking and finance sector is required for this position |
| | - Be able to converse fluently with executive management including preparation of management reports where required |
| | - Knowledge and experience in banking, project and process management is required |
| | - Demonstrated capacity with respect to the key responsibilities and accountabilities in existing role – substantiated by work references. |
