| | The Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) is seeking a Bilingual Information Officer for its Port Vila office. This is a junior position within the VTO and requires an outgoing and a dedicated person who will be the face of VTO to the Visitor Information Center enquiries. The Information Officer will report directly to the senior Information Officer and also works |
| | closely with the Marketing Division. |
| | Duties and Responsibilities: |
| | 1) Maintenance of Visitor Information Center brochure stock levels and overall presentation of the center |
| | 2) Record visitor enquiry research statistics |
| | 3) Updating and management of tourism products database/contacts lists |
| | 4) Regular attendance at products presentations & familiar to update knowledge of Vanuatu Tourism product |
| | 5) Providing timely response to general tourist enquiries to the VTO (ensuring turnaround of less than 48 hours to tourism@vanuatu.travel enquiries). |

| | Criteria: |
| | - Have at least three years experience in the tourism sector, preferably in a similar position; Be computer literate and fluent in using microsoft programs, email, internet and other related programs; |
| | Must have good communication skills |
| | - Be fluent in french and english language; Have a formal qualification or training in tourism or any related field; Has a valid drivers licence. |
