The Pacific Aviation Safety Office (PASO) is a regional International Organization based in Port Vila, Vanuatu that operates under the Pacific Islands Civil Aviation Safety & Security Treaty (PICASST) to provide civil aviation safety & security oversight services to 10 Pacific Island Member States.

Job Description
1)  The Flight Operations Inspector would be responsible through the PASO management to the Sates Directors of Civil Aviation for all the safety oversight regulatory services to training, examination, testing and licensing of pilots, approval of pilot training curriculum, certification of pilot training schools and simulators, audits and certification of air operators, assessment and evaluation of applications for the issue of various flight operations approvals.

2)  The Airworthiness Inspector would be responsible through the PASO management to the States Directors of Civil Aviation for all the safety oversight regulatory services to training, examination, testing and licensing of engineers, approval of engineers training curriculum and certification of engineer training schools and simulators and certification of air operator's maintenance arrangement, certification and renewal audits of local and foreign maintenance companies and line maintenance facilities, assessments and evaluation of applications for the issue of various airworthiness approvals, aircraft type certification or acceptance and managing regulatory tasks for introduction of new aircrafts. 

3)  The Aerodromes Inspector would be responsible through the PASO management to the States Directors of Civil Aviation for all the safety oversight regulatory services to the certification of aerodromes to ICAO Annex 14 standards, aerodrome safety, certification and surveillance, markings and interface with ground aids, communication, navigation and surveillance systems, lighting and electrical power supply, aerodrome design, maintenance and Safety Management Systems, aeronautical studies, airports emergency plans documents, obstacle limitations, bird hazards management, noise abatements, aviation security and other related aerodrome safety, security and operations manuals.

Job Description
The Guest Services Agent will:

Handle check-in and checkout of arriving and departing guests, following established The Ramada resort standards.

Handle all cashiering transactions (posting charges to guest rooms, exchanging foreign currency, etc.), balancing their cash float at the end of each shift.

Respond to all guest requests and questions in a professional and courteous manner, whether via telephone or in person, providing accurate information and taking appropriate courses of action (safety deposit box issuance, message handling, dealing with complaints, etc.)

Coordinates room status updates with the Shift Leader, by notifying them of all group checkouts, late checkouts, early check-ins and special requests.

Be knowledgeable at all times of updated product and service information, including daily hotel meetings and conferences.

Possess a working knowledge of room reservation procedures, according to Ramada resort  standards, and will handle reservation booking and cancellation.

Customize their selling approach and upselling techniques, based on the targets set for each particular shift.

Will always be ready to anticipate client and guest needs well in advance.

Job Description
Main Responsibilities

Lead and manage the department in accordance with Ramada Standards and set hotel objectives

Ensure that departmental levels of KPIs are in line with hotel objectives

Always lead by example

Prepare monthly departmental forecasts and yearly budgets together with Director of Rooms

Interview and recruit colleagues as per job specifications and form an efficient and motivated housekeeping team

Motivate, train, supervise, evaluate and discipline all Housekeeping and Laundry colleagues

Ensure that all relevant Radama standards are in place and followed

Monitor daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly assignments and projects for all Room Attendants, Housemen, Public Area, Uniform / Laundry Attendants and Supervisors

Attend managerial meetings if requested and participate actively in achieving productive results

Review and reassess outsourced contracts on a yearly basis

Selection Criteria
Senior School qualifications or equivalent is mandatory
Degree or Higher National Diploma equivalent in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management is mandatory
Minimum 3 years of experience working in Resort hotel environment
Minimum of 2 years previous  Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper experience required
Previous working experience  is beneficial
