Information Management System Development
The Central Tender Board (CTB) office under the Ministry of Finance and Economic Management currently has a need for a database system that will assist the office in managing its documents more effectively. This system should enable the office to store all its day-to-day documents electronically thereby making future retrieval of documents and information easier. At the same time, this system will also be used to track and manage all the tender processes and procedures allowing a smooth workflow environment.
The Central Tender Board office is now seeking a reputable firm legally established or a qualified individual Web Application Designer and Developer to develop this Web Application to enhance its current functions.
The Web Application Designer and Developer is required to produce the following: 1. Submit a Project Plan for the system’s design and development; by the end of week 1.
The Central Tender Board office is now seeking a reputable firm legally established or a qualified individual Web Application Designer and Developer to develop this Web Application to enhance its current functions.
The Web Application Designer and Developer is required to produce the following: 1. Submit a Project Plan for the system’s design and development; by the end of week 1.
2. Iterative development of the system and deployment of first prototype by end of week 8 with subsequent weekly releases for user consideration and testing.
3. Development of a fully functional version of the system for testing by the end of week 11.
4. Functional and acceptance testing by CTB & FMIS and the Central Tender Board should be finished followed by subsequent online deployment by end of week 14.
5. Provide a short weekly report in soft copy on achievements and obstacles, to CTB & FMIS, during each week of the contract.
6. Produce a full documentation for the administration, design and development of the system by end of week 15.
7. Delivery of training to CTB staff and delivery to CTB of training materials which can be used for future staff training. Final refinements to the CTB TMS based on any issues identified during training and completion report by end of week 16.

The Vanuatu National Provident Fund invites applications for
the position of a Financial Analyst in the Investment Division. This is a
senior position and reports directly to the Manager of the Investment
Division. He or She must be competent and will be responsible to conduct
market researches and carrying out due diligences into new and existing
investment opportunities to assist the Vanuatu National Provident Fund
Investment Board in their decision making.

The main duties of the position include:
• Manage market data and analytics to support fixed income investment processes in the marketplace; • Develop relative value monitoring to assess market opportunities; • Develop attribution tools for both forward looking risk and backward looking performance analysis; • Analysing financial information relating to the companies or projects where VNPF has an interest, e.g. a new set of accounts, profit and loss and cash flow statement; • Ensures that alternative investments are safe through proper analysis, market research and due diligence; • Provision of sound, accurate and timely financial advice; • Perform any other duty as assigned. Interested Applicants should possess; • a degree in Banking and Finance, Economics or related field, • 3 years of practical experience, such as lower-level analyst positions and economic, modelling in related industries, • numerical skills and a high degree of accuracy, • Advance level of computer literacy. • An understanding of the domestic financial markets is necessary.
