Chemonics seeks a community liaison specialist to engage community participation for the anticipated USAID-funded Coastal Community Adaptation Program. This five-year project will focus on responding to the challenges that climate change poses to the development and survival of the Pacific Islands. We are looking for individuals who have a

passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

1) Work with local community leaders and members to ensure community buy-in and ownership

2) Supervise a network of community mobilizers across the region to engage community participation in all phases of the program

4) Interact with local government and community officials

6) Provide cultural background and communications support.
