Job involves:
True mastery in joinery requires a rigorous technical ability and management skills, such as:
Advanced Mathematics: Precise layout angles & wood movement math
Machinery Mastery: Deep knowledge of setting up, maintaining, and safely operating machines like Thickness Planer, Table saw, Router, Mortiser, Miter saw, Sander belt etc.
Quality Control (Precision jointing): Perfect precision Joints (mortise & tenon, dovetails)
Technical Literacy: Interpreting complex drawing
Selection Criteria:
Criteria:
• Formal Qualifications & Certifications Supporting Document (Technical Schools)
• Professional References (At least 2 comprehensive client or employer references detailing quality of your success project)
• Timber Technology (In depth knowledge of different wood behaviors, moisture, content, grain direction, and species-specific stability
• Machinery Competency (Safe, precision handling complex, heavy duty workshop machinery like table saws, tickness planer, Mortiser)
• Well presented, must be able to multi task and prioritize, strong sense of responsibility and conscientious, Punctuality
