Organisation Description:
The Vanuatu National Provident Fund (VNPF) was established under the Vanuatu National Provident Fund Act [CAP 189] to provide security for workers during their working life and into retirement.
Job Desctiption:
To conduct inspections and compliance checks on informal sector members and employers within the Sanma Province to ensure adherence to VNPF policies and procedures. The role supports the effective registration, contribution collection, and monitoring of informal members, while promoting awareness of VNPF services and safeguarding the Fund’s interests.
Selection Criteria:
Qualifications/Experience Bachelor’s degree in management and public administration or any other related field of studies; Key attributes and requirements · Good knowledge of VNPF Act, regulations, and policies related to member registration and contributions. · Strong observational and analytical skills to identify non-compliance and document findings accurately. · Ability to work independently in the field. · Proficiency in recordkeeping and basic computer skills, including MS Office and database entry. · Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with diverse communities, demonstrating confidence in public speaking and delivering awareness sessions. · Physical fitness and willingness to travel extensively within the province and work in challenging environments. Key Outcomes · Inspection & Compliance Conduct inspections to ensure self-employed and members comply with the VNPF Act, policies, and procedures and other authorities. · Contribution Monitoring Verify accuracy and timeliness of informal member contributions and follow up on non-compliance. · Reporting & Documentation
Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain proper records for audit and management review. · Member Registration & Updates Support registration of new members and ensure member information is accurate and up to date. · Awareness & Advisory Support Provide guidance to members and employers on VNPF obligations, benefits, and services
