Organisation Description:
Coral Quays Resort is an 18 bungalow, ocean front resort at Saint Michel, approx 5km from Luganville. We have a large restaurant and bar catering to international and local guests.
Job Desctiption:
We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and experienced Chef to join our busy kitchen team.
Working alongside three other chefs, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining excellent kitchen standards. This role is ideal for someone who is disciplined, mature, and passionate about food and hospitality.
We enjoy trying new recipes and concepts so are excited for find someone willing to experiment with us.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with menu development
- Helping implement kitchen systems and procedures
- Ensuring food is prepared to a high standard
- Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards
- Delivering meals in a timely and efficient manner
- Someone who comes to work on time and is commited to achieving
Selection Criteria:
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Mature, reliable, and organised
- Committed to quality, cleanliness, and consistency
- Fluent English and Bislama
- Enthusiatic to learn new recipes and foods
- Team player - the successful operation of Coral Quays Resort depends upon team work.
