We are looking to recruit Restaurant Bar and Floor staff for either full or part time
Selection Criteria:
Restaurant floor staff play a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service and smooth operations. Here are some key experience, qualifications, and skills for this position:
Experience:
1. Prior experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
2. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, order taking, and handling payments.
3. Experience in working effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Food handler's certificate or willingness to obtain one.
3. Additional certifications in hospitality or customer service may be advantageous.
Skills:
1. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
2. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with guests and provide exceptional service.
3. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently, especially during busy periods.
4. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order taking and fulfilling customer requests.
5. Problem-solving skills to address customer concerns or resolve issues promptly.
6. Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with other staff members to deliver a seamless dining experience.
7. Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions accurately.
8. Adaptability and flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
