We are looking for an energetic Restaurant Duty
Manager experienced in working in a busy fast paced environment for our very
successful and busy restaurant.
Criteria:
Candidates
should possess the following skills and be able to execute the following duties
under the direction of the F&B Manager:
- Able to work shifts including
nights, weekends and Public Holidays
- Proven work experience as a
Restaurant Manager with strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Possess food and beverage
knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform
customers and wait staff
- Familiar with a restaurant POS
system
- Able to supervise restaurant staff
and operations during scheduled shifts
- Able to oversee the dining room,
check-in with customers and balance seating capacity
- Ensure restaurant runs smoothly
and customers have pleasant dining experiences
- Lead by example and motivate
staff to provide superior food and beverage service to maximise customer
satisfaction
- Respond efficiently and satisfactorily
to customer complaints
- Appraise staff performance and
provide feedback to F&B Manager to improve productivity
- Estimate future needs for goods,
kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation
and safety regulations
- Manage restaurant’s good image
and suggest ways to improve it
- Control operational costs and
identify measures to cut waste
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
