Organisation Description:
Embassy of Japan in Vanuatu is located on 2nd Floor, Air Vanuatu Building, Rue de Paris, Port Vila, Vanuatu.
Job Desctiption:
Main responsibilities:
- Support research and analysis of the political, economic and social situations in Vanuatu.
- Draft official letters, speeches and other documents
- Assist the Embassy in organizing various events
- Assist with other Embassy duties as required
Selection Criteria:
Qualifications:
- A Citizen of Vanuatu or permit holder who has the necessary clearance to live and work in Vanuatu
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Bislama with excellent computer skills (MS Office, Word/Excel etc). French is an advantage.
- Must be able to communicate well in both written and spoken.
- Proactive, diligent and a team player with interpersonal skills.
- Clean police record and clean driver's license.
Education and Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Proven work experience in the above responsibilities will be highly considered.
