We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Emergency Project Coordinator to:

• Implement and manage project activities as stated in the relevant Project Document, which includes managing a budget and monitoring expenditures.
• Ensure proper monitoring and evaluation procedures are present in all project activities, including site monitoring visits as necessary.
• Supervise and work closely/support Implementing Partners (IPs) for implementation of project activities.
• Manage the information flows between Implementing Partners and Assistant FAO Representative.
• Take responsibility for overall progress and use of resources and initiating corrective action where necessary.
Criteria:
The Emergency Project Coordinator’s prime responsibility is to ensure that the project achieved the objectives within the specified period, cost, quality, scope. Key competencies include:

• Demonstrates commitment to FAO’s vision and values
• Displays cultural, gender, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability
• Excellent command of English language and Bislama
• Former Knowledge/experience in managing FAO funded projects will be considered as a strong advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills such as communication, negotiation, conflict management;
• Skills in planning and time management, as well as attention to detail;
• Good analytical and writing skills.
